Stripe workspace

Manage Stripe accounts, payouts and withdrawals from Pay Engineers

A dedicated workspace inside your dashboard: connect accounts, sync live Stripe data, verify bank details, unlock withdrawal packs and follow every request until funds land — with human review at each critical step.

Stripe

Payments infrastructure

Overview

A separate Stripe workspace inside Pay Engineers

From your main dashboard sidebar, open “Stripe accounts”. You confirm that you are entering a dedicated workspace — same site, different sidebar, colours and tools. You can leave anytime via “Exit Stripe management” and return to the Pay Engineers dashboard without losing your connected accounts.

Multi-account monitoring

Connect several Stripe accounts. Balances, payments, transactions, refunds, transfers, payouts and external bank accounts are synchronised and browsable per account.

Three connection modes

Managed on Pay Engineers (KYC + banks + payouts on this site), Stripe OAuth for existing Standard accounts, or link with publishable + secret API keys from the Stripe Dashboard.

Verified personal IBANs

Register destination bank accounts once. Our team verifies each IBAN before it can receive funds. Pack limits control how many banks you may keep active.

Supervised withdrawals

Request withdrawals against available Stripe balance and pack entitlements. Every request is human-reviewed, status-tracked and notified by email plus in-dashboard alerts.

Workspace tools

What you can do once inside

The Stripe sidebar mirrors the operational areas you need day to day. Data is organised per connected account and refreshed from Stripe on demand.

Dashboard

Global overview of connected accounts, recent activity and quick entry points.

All accounts

List, open, sync or disconnect accounts. Per-account pages show readiness for payouts and onboarding status.

Payments

Browse Charge / PaymentIntent history synchronised from Stripe for monitoring and reconciliation.

Transactions

Balance transactions (charges, fees, transfers, payouts) with amounts and currency as reported by Stripe.

Payouts

Stripe payout history and the entry point to create a supervised withdrawal request to a verified IBAN.

Withdrawals

Your Pay Engineers withdrawal queue: reference number, amount, destination bank, status timeline and events.

Bank accounts

Personal IBANs for receiving funds. Add, edit or remove within pack limits; unverified banks cannot receive withdrawals.

Refunds & transfers

Refund and transfer records synced from Stripe so finance ops stay visible without leaving Pay Engineers.

Withdrawal packs

Subscribe, pay the invoice, then unlock bank management and withdrawal quotas for the billing period.

Connecting accounts

Choose how each Stripe account is linked

Recommended

Managed on Pay Engineers

Create a Connect account managed by the platform. KYC onboarding, bank accounts and payouts stay on this site. Complete Stripe onboarding before withdrawals are enabled on that account.

  • Country (ISO) and business type at creation
  • Onboarding link when requirements remain
  • Sync to refresh capabilities and balances

Optional

Connect with Stripe (OAuth)

Authorize an existing Standard Stripe account. No API keys to copy. You are redirected to Stripe, then returned to Pay Engineers. Access can be revoked anytime from the Stripe Dashboard.

  • Optional display name for the workspace list
  • Banks on Standard accounts stay in Stripe Dashboard
  • Verified Pay Engineers IBANs can auto-match on bank sync

Advanced

Link with API keys

Paste publishable and secret keys from your Stripe Dashboard. Keys are stored encrypted and never shown again after saving. Prefer restricted keys with the minimum read scopes required for monitoring when possible.

  • Encrypted at rest on Pay Engineers
  • Disconnect removes local linkage without deleting Stripe
  • Manual sync pulls fresh account and money-movement data

Withdrawal pipeline

Exact statuses on every request

Each request has a unique reference number, amount, currency, linked Stripe account and destination bank. Open statuses remain actionable for the finance team until completed, rejected or cancelled.

Submitted

In queue. Usually reviewed within 1 business day. You may cancel at this stage only.

Under review

Finance checks Stripe balance, pack limits and destination bank. No action required from you.

Approved

Review passed. Bank transfer will be initiated shortly; status moves to Processing.

Processing

Transfer in progress. Typically 1–3 business days depending on bank and Stripe settlement.

Completed

Funds sent. Keep the payment reference for reconciliation.

Rejected

Closed by the team with a reason. Fix the issue, then submit a new request.

Cancelled

You cancelled while still Submitted. Submit again anytime if needed.

Notifications

Status changes, sync results, IBAN verification and account connect/disconnect events trigger email + in-app notifications.

Withdrawal packs

Entitlements that unlock banks and payouts

Without an active pack, bank management and withdrawals stay locked. Paying the pack invoice activates the subscription for the pack’s billing period, resets period counters, and cancels any other active pack for your user.

What a pack controls

  • • Bank management unlock — add and manage personal IBANs
  • • Withdrawal unlock — submit payout requests to verified banks
  • • Max bank accounts — how many IBANs you may keep
  • • Max withdrawals per period — count cap for the billing window
  • • Max withdrawal amount per period — cumulative amount cap
  • • Billing period (days) — validity window after activation

Activation rules

  • • Invoice paid (balance due ≤ 0 or status Paid) activates the pack
  • • starts_at / ends_at set from billing_period_days
  • • Period usage counters reset on activation
  • • Only one active pack per user at a time
  • • Pack alone is not enough: the Stripe account must be payout-ready

Payout readiness

Even with an active pack, withdrawals require a connected account with payouts enabled. Managed accounts may need onboarding completed; sync the account if capabilities look stale. The packs page lists blocked accounts with Sync / Complete onboarding actions.

Security & control

What never happens automatically

Security of your keys

API keys are stored encrypted and are never displayed again after saving. With OAuth, no secret key is shared — revoke access from Stripe whenever you want.

Human-reviewed withdrawals

No funds move automatically from a client click alone. Every withdrawal request is reviewed and executed by the Pay Engineers team, which reduces mistakes and fraudulent destinations.

Full audit trail

Withdrawal request events record status, actor, optional message and metadata. You see the timeline on the request page; admins manage the same pipeline from the admin console.

You keep control

Cancel a pending (Submitted) request, remove a bank account, disconnect a Stripe account or exit the workspace at any time. Your Stripe account itself is not modified without your action.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything about the Stripe workspace — accounts, packs, banks, withdrawals, security and alerts — in one place.

No. It is the same Pay Engineers app with a dedicated Stripe shell (sidebar, colours and tools). You stay there until you exit via “Exit Stripe management” and return to the main dashboard.

From the Pay Engineers sidebar, open “Stripe accounts”, then confirm on the enter screen (same tab or new tab). Leave anytime from the Stripe sidebar — your connected accounts remain saved.

Managed on Pay Engineers (KYC, banks and payouts here), Stripe OAuth (authorize a Standard account without pasting keys), or API keys (publishable + secret, encrypted and never shown again after saving).

No. You can connect and monitor accounts without a pack. An active withdrawal pack is required only to manage personal IBANs and to submit withdrawal requests.

Account details, balances, payments, transactions, refunds, transfers, payouts and related bank records — organised per connected account. Trigger Sync whenever you need a fresh snapshot.

Yes. Keys are encrypted at rest and never displayed again after saving. With OAuth, no secret is shared — revoke access anytime from your Stripe Dashboard.

Yes. Multiple active accounts are supported. Each has its own detail page, sync actions and payout readiness. The Stripe sidebar lists them all for quick access.

Pick a pack, pay the invoice, and on confirmed payment it activates for its billing period. It unlocks banks and/or withdrawals and enforces limits (banks, count and amount per period). Only one active pack per user.

The Stripe account must be payout-ready (onboarding complete, capabilities synced). On the packs page, blocked accounts show Sync and Complete onboarding. A pack alone is not enough if payouts are disabled.

Add a personal bank account under Bank accounts. Our team reviews it; you are notified when it is verified or rejected with a reason. Only verified IBANs can receive funds. Your pack caps how many banks you may keep.

Yes, only while status is Submitted. After Under review, client cancellation is closed. You can submit a new request after a rejection or cancellation once the issue is fixed.

Submitted → Under review → Approved → Processing → Completed. Alternatives: Rejected (with reason) or Cancelled (by you while Submitted). Every change appears on the request timeline.

No. Each withdrawal is human-reviewed before execution. After approval, processing usually takes 1–3 business days depending on your bank and Stripe settlement.

In-dashboard alerts and branded emails for connect/disconnect, sync results, IBAN verification and withdrawal status changes (reference, amount, account, destination, payment reference or rejection reason).
